Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event is scheduled to kick off at 10:30 pm IST, Wednesday. After two years of hosting online launch events due to the pandemic, this time the exclusive event will take place in person at the Steve Jobs Theater at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.
Where can you stream Apple’s ‘Far Out’ Sept 7 Event?
The event will be live-streamed on the official Apple website & its youtube channel. Typically their events last anywhere between one to two hours, last year Apple was done in less than 80 minutes, and in 2020 the stream barely lasted an hour. But in 2019, the event went on for an hour and 40 minutes.
What will Apple reveal at the event?
Once again Apple is expected to launch 4 new Apple models this year. They will focus on iPhone 14 series, the new Apple Watch Series 8, the new Apple Watch Pro, and AirPods Pro 2. They are reportedly ditching the iPhone mini for a new model which might be named iPhone 14 Max or iPhone 14 Plus. Apple’s September events have always revolved around the iPhone since 2012.
Coming to the specifications, while the non-pro variants are expected to be powered by the A15 Bionic chipset, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max will feature the A16 chipset. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are said to come with a higher-performance version of last year’s A15 Bionic chip that powers the iPhone 13 series. The rumored price range for iPhone 14 Pro is between Rs 1,14,011 to Rs 1,49,711.
Whereas, iPhone 14 Pro Max is likely to be sold between Rs 1,42,801 to Rs 1,60,005.
Apple will also announce the Watch Series 8 with a new design, large battery, larger screen, and other features. The watch will be available in multiple colors, Midnight, Starlight, Red & Silver.
The company also confirmed a delay with iPadOS 16 until after the release of iOS 16, reportedly due to tweaks to the Stage Manager experience. Apple’s September event is when they usually announce the exact release dates for the latest version of iOS and iPadOS. Apple originally announced iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2022 back in June, and since then, developers and public beta testers have been beta-testing the software.
While new surprises from Apple have become a rare occurrence lately, who knows if they have a trick or two saved up to their sleeves for this time? To tune in, watch the entire live stream tonight.
