What is Bollywood?

Bollywood is an Indian film industry that is Hindi-based and currently located in Mumbai (earlier Bombay). It is also known as Bombay cinema or Hindi cinema as people like to call it. In India, the world’s largest number of films are produced in the Bollywood industry. 

BOLLYWOOD IS NOT RESTRICTED TO HINDI AREAS OR HINDI LANGUAGE.

Bollywood includes all movie actors be it from the southern industry as well. It has set a record for producing 364 Hindi films and 1986 feature films in the year 2017. This includes films of different genres like comedy, horror, thriller, suspense, romantic, action, drama, melodrama, and many more.
