The duo will be releasing a single on June 24 and they made it official through a short video to announce the most-awaited and anticipated collaboration. We could see Charlie Puth asking JK to sing a few lines in a short snippet before we could actually see the teaser. The official news was released on June 17 IST, which made the fans really excited and really looking forward to their fantastic collaboration.
The viral video on Tik Tok was posted by Charlie Puth where he asks Jungkook how he sings the lyrics of “Left and Right”.
Charlie Puth – “Hey Man how does it sound when you sing, “ Memories follow you left and right”.
For the next round, Charlie asks JK to go up to the left side of his mic and sing “I can be over her” and then do the same on the right.
Puth covers the “And it sounds like the part” and it’s a cut. He also added that “This is gonna be crazy.’’
The song will be featured on Puth’s upcoming album “Charlie”.
Charlie Puth also added a link to pre-saving the cover of “Left and Right” and teasing the audience that if they get more than 500,000 pre-saves they will drop it on June 24. Later on June 18, BTS’s official Twitter handle posted a cover of the duo’s single which featured Charlie Puth and Jungkook.
The duo’s fans also had a flashback of their first special and memorable performances in 2018 during the MBC Plus x Genie Awards back in South Korea.
The BTS Army has gone wild and is wiping the tears at the news of BTS taking a hiatus which isn’t true. The seven members would be working solo for a while and Jungkook’s collaboration with Charlie Puth being one of the first solo covers marks the beginning of the same.
This JK’s solo has created a hot topic of discussion as well.
This Charlie Puth and Jungkook collaboration are beyond words for the fans. The collaboration has made a great way towards global stardom along with a big hit for the BTS.
As soon as the Tik Tok video went viral it received 7.4 million views and 2 million likes within seven hours. The duo has been given a pairing name by the fans as Puthinators which includes Puth’s fans and Armies all set for the pre-save the cover well in advance.
As per the response received by the fans and Jungkook’s revelation of being a Puth fan for years now and performing the most heard and loved duet of We don’t talk anymore alongside Charlie Puth which broke records it is very much predictable that “Left and Right” is about to do the same.
