On Tuesday, when most of India was preoccupied with Independence Day festivities, the producers of “Fighter” released a motion poster full of bright colors and unexpected special effects, much to the delight of moviegoers.
The first motion poster for the film, which features stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, has already generated excitement among viewers; some have even drawn comparisons to the 1986 film Top Gun based on the actors’ appearances and the setting.
In the opening scene of the moving poster titled “Spirit Of The Fighter,” three Sukhois are shown taking off. Next, we cut to Hrithik Roshan, who plays Patty, an Indian Air Force officer, in the film. The actor looks suave and dapper in his G-Suit. Hrithik previously revealed that he spent around 12 days filming with the Sukhois and inside the fighter jets for the film.
Following that, we are introduced to Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, both of whom appear to be playing Air Force Officers in the film. The motion poster, in keeping with the day’s patriotic spirit, features a rendition of “Vande Mataram.”

Sharing the motion poster featuring himself, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in the film, Hrithik wrote on X,
“Spirit of Fighter | Vande Mataram! See you in theaters on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day. Fighter releases worldwide on 25th January 2024.”
Deepika and Anil were both in uniform and sported dark sunglasses, just like Hrithik in the teaser.

Enthusiastic followers posted, “Now this is what you call goosebumps” on X. As another put it, “I simply cannot wait until Republic Day 2024.” Additional comment on Deepika’s style: “Fierce and so, so cool.” Another person remarked, “Ooh, the men in uniform look dashing!”
Hrithik’s First Look As IAF Patty
The photo, which was posted on Hrithik’s Instagram account on June 26, showed the actor dressed as a pilot and standing on an airfield with his back to the camera. There was also a fighter plane visible in the background. Hrithik looked at the jet with his hand resting on it. He wrote in his caption,
“Fighter 25 January 2024… 7 months to Fighter.”

Siddharth Anand announced Fighter in January 2021. The film was supposed to hit theaters in September 2022. However, the pre-production phase was held up because of the COVID-19 pandemic. While talking about the film, Anand who is also making his debut as a producer under his production company Marflix, earlier shared,
“Fighter is a dream project, and I am glad to have someone with Ajit Andhare (COO, Viacom18 Studios) vision to be partnering this with me. With this film, we aim to put Indian films on the map for action-loving global theatrical audiences who crave for spectacle and the big screen experience.”
In this new pairing, Deepika and Hrithik will face each other for the first time. Hrithik, who was last seen in Vikram Vedha, has worked with Siddharth before in the film War, which also starred Tiger Shroff. Deepika’s most recent appearance was in Pathaan, the highest-grossing film of the year.
