The wait is finally over. Actor Suriya’s fans can now rejoice as the much-awaited teaser of his upcoming film, Kanguva, has finally dropped. Suriya marked his 48th birthday at midnight on July 23rd, as the makers released the scintillating & dark-looking teaser on his special day. The pan-India epic period film Kanguva will see Suriya’s never-before-seen avatar and fans are already praising his small glimpse after watching the teaser.

Suriya’s Kanguva Teaser

The opening scene of Kanguva portrays an eerie, bleak, and unsettling tone as hundreds of people lie dead on the battlefield. A masked warrior emerges from the shadows and throws his spearhead directly into his opponent’s heart. Devi Shri Prasad’s composition adds more goosebumps and thrills to the teaser. Suriya’s appearance is different here, and his immersion in his role only increases excitement and pumps up the audience’s heart as they eagerly await Kanguva and the go-getter actor to create magic on the screen once again.

Suriya’s First Look as the Brave Warrior

Kanguva is speculated to be scaled on a grand level, with an estimated mega-budget of around Rs 300 crore. The power-packed teaser instantly sent fans into a fizz, and not only the fans but also other actors and movie stars hailed the teaser. Adding more excitement and surprise to Suriya’s special day, the makers also dropped the murky and intense-looking period poster of Suriya on social media handles. The versatile actor and son of Sivakumar looks powerful and muscular as a warrior here.

The makers hold a prominent place in the South Indian film industry for they gave many blockbusters in the last 16 years including films like the ‘Singam series’, ‘Paruthi Veeran’, ‘Siruthai’, ‘Komban’, ‘Naan Maha Alla’, ‘Madras’, ‘Teddy’, and the recent ‘Pathu Thala’. The fact that Kanguva is a collaborative effort between two major studios and the news that it will be released in 3D and 10 languages has even generated more buzz and as a result, expectations have been rising rapidly.

The universe of Kanguva will provide the viewers with a refreshingly authentic and unrefined visual experience. Mortal emotions, compelling spectacles, and never-before-seen combat scenes on a colossal scale will be at the heart of the film.

Cast Of Kanguva

Siruthai Siva is the director of the movie Kanguva, which stars Suriya and Bollywood actress Disha Patani in the lead roles. ‘Kanguva’ means the man of fire, and Suriya defines and portrays it well through the first look and the teaser. Other cast members will be revealed as the film progresses through production. Nevertheless, fans are happy to get back-to-back surprises on his birthday, as it was memorable not only for them but also for the actor himself. This will be Disha Patani’s second pan – India film after Kalki 2898 AD.
