Prematch Analysis – Rajasthan Royals is the only team that is unbeaten at the Tata IPL 2022 as they have won 2 out of 2. RR convincingly Defeated MI in their last fixture and made a statement that they can defeat any team regardless of the team’s prowess. RCB on the other hand have started winning as they have won 1 out of 2. One thing that is a must from RR vs RCB clash is that there would be immense boundaries scored as the match is scheduled at Wankhede Stadium which means that scores can be expected in excess of 200+

Faf-led RCB have opened their account and are looking all set to win a lot of matches. RCB this year is looking to go one step ahead and win the marquee tournament as they have got a good mixture of youth and experience. RCB need to get their bowling right as they can’t let the opponent chase target easily which they did against Punjab Kings PBKS. RCB know that they can’t get complacent against RR as they are proving to be a force to reckon with. RCB need to make their death bowling good else they won’t be even able to defend 250 runs.

Sanju Samson looks a bit more focused while batting as it can be said that the batting has reached a new level. The Captain has definitely performed better than the previous season as he knows that his role has no boundaries. He has developed a good bond with Kumar Sangakkara as now it can be seen that the duo understands that nothing else matters than taking the team forward. RR in this match needs to make sure that apart from Buttler the rest are contributing as winning IPL requires team effort which is certainly missing in the batting department.

Strategy for RCB and RR to win

If batting first, RCB need to bat well and make sure that they are scoring 200+ as the scoreboard pressure plays a major role in defending the target. Defending the target is by no means easy due to the dew factor. Toss is not in the hands of RCB as they should be up for the challenge of defending.

RR would like to make 3 wins out of 3 as they have a power-packed batting lineup and a bowling line up which can defend any target as they have Boult and Chahal; all in all, there is very less that can stop RR from winning as it can be said that they have a perfect XI which can disseminate any team.
