1. IQOO U5X to be launched
IQOO U5X has been launched in China. A budget smartphone from IQOO powered by a snapdragon 680 SoC, dual rear camera, Android 11 based origin, housing a 5,000mAh battery supporting 10W charging and a super impressive standby battery life of 25.8 days.
In China, the 4GB+128GB variant is priced at CNY 899 or roughly ₹10,700, and the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at CNY 1099 or roughly ₹13,100. We can expect U5X to be launched very soon in India but a confirmation from IQOO is still on hold.
2. Jio IPL plans
To beat the heat IPL is back and making it more fun Reliance Jio has launched new plans for non-stop entertainment.
The new cricket add-on plan is available via the My Jio app.
Plans starting from ₹279 offering 15GB of mobile data can go as high as ₹3,119 with 365 days validity and 2GB of daily data, plans are also priced at ₹601, ₹659, ₹799, ₹1,066
3. Call of Duty mobile Season 3 Radical raid
Set to kick start from next month, Radical Raid will have some radical changes to the gameplay including a theme around the 80s, Like Vanguard, the star being Snoop Dogg, Call of Duty mobile Season 3 will offer a brand-new battle pass which includes free and premium items like new operators, new functional weapon,50 new tires, weapons blueprint, calling cards, charms, COD Points and more.
4. New Crypto laws in India
India passes stiff Crypto tax laws despite industry uproar. Indians will be paying a capital gains tax of 30% on crypto transactions in just one week after parliament passed a controversial tax proposal on Friday.
In addition to capital gains tax, Indians buying or selling Crypto will have to pay a 1% tax deducted at source (TDS) as well as taxes on Crypto gifts, with no ability to take deductions for losses.
The Crypto taxes will come into effect on April 1, while the TDS will start on July 1.
5. Black Shark 5 Leaks
Black shark is bracing up to launch its Black Shark 5 series. Ahead of its launch, Chinese Tipster has shared some specifications which are yet to be confirmed by the company.
According to the leaks, Black Shark 5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, E4 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Equipped with a 4,600mAh battery supporting a 120W fast charging beast, it’ll be based on Android 12.
For Black Shark 5 Pro, the device is said to feature an AMOLED display +144Hz QHD, Snapdragon 8 generation 1 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery with the rest specifications to be the same.
According to some rumors, Tencent may very soon acquire the Black Shark brand.
6. Realme GT Neo 3
Realme had just launched it’s GT Neo 3 in China labeling it as the world’s fastest charging smartphone. With the BIS and SIRIM certification, GT NEO 3 is expected to arrive in late April or May.
GT NEO 3 can feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with120Hz of refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, a centrally positioned 32MP punch hole, and the rear featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS support accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP tele macro camera.
Based on Android 12 Realme UI 3.0, under the hood it houses a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset assisted by a 12GB+256GB and is powered by a 4500mAh battery with 150W fast charging support
7. One Plus 10R new specs
According to rumors One Plus, 10R will be featuring a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED display, Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ support.
The performance of the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100SoC paired with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and for storage, we’ve options for 128GB or 256GB of UPS 3.1 internal storage.
10R will also feature an Android 12 OS with an Oxygen OS running on top and a stereo setup is tuned by Dolby Atmos with an NFC support
The camera setup is a triple cluster consisting of the main camera as a 50MP Sony IMX766 main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it’ll equip a 16MP S5K3P9SP lens for awesome selfies.
10R is completely similar to Realme GT Neo3 when it comes to battery and charging capacity featuring a 4,500mAh and 150W fast charging, but still, it is yet to be confirmed by One Plus.
8. Vivo Pad leaks
Marketing image leaks showcasing a detachable keyboard cover with 5 rows, a stylus, and a large camera, with plans of Vivo to sell it as an alternative to laptops
Vivo Pad resembles similar to the Xiaomi Pad 5 because of its rounded corners and the thin bezels make it look a lot like the iPad Pro 11 from the front but the rear is distinguishable with the exceptionally big camera.
A completely flat back panel featuring only the camera setup which has two cameras along with an LED flash but it’s unclear which sensors have been used.
According to rumors, the tablet will be able to recharge the stylus inductively mirroring many other tablets including the Galaxy Tab S8 series although pricing and other specs remain unknown.
9. Sony New Camera sensor
A huge 50MP 1/1.1 Sony camera phone sensor is incoming and according to some speculations Exmor IMX800 is destined for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
This makes it the biggest in the industry just edging out Samsung’s 50MP 1/1.12 GN2 used in Xiaomi 11 Ultra.
If we talk about the camera setup and configuration of the new Xiaomi 12 Ultra then it’s the same as the 11 Ultra but differs in the camera sensor and a possible hardware upgrade.
10. Mahindra NFT Auction
Mahindra & Mahindra enter the NFT auction with its first trench of tokens based on the iconic Thar SUV which makes Mahindra the second automobile company in India after MG Motor and the first based on origin.
Mahindra’s initial NFT offerings are to be released in collaboration with Tech Mahindra and the first series will be comprised of 4 NFTs that’ll be put for auction on March 29 on Tech Mahindra’s NFT marketplace “Mahindra Gallery”.
All the proceedings from the auction will go towards a project to support the education of underprivileged girls in India.
