Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot in Las Vegas this weekend. In 2002, they met on the filming of the widely panned film "Gigli."

According to Lopez, the pair, who were engaged in the early 2000s before splitting up for 17 years, married on Saturday night at The Little White Chapel.

Lopez confirmed the news via her official newsletter “On the JLo” with multiple exclusive photos from their special day.

Lopez's new married name, Jennifer Affleck, was listed on a marriage licence issued in Clark County, Nevada.

Lopez has twins Max and Emme from her marriage to Marc Anthony. Affleck has three children from his marriage to Jennifer Garner: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

“Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” wrote Lopez in a message signed Jennifer Lynn Affleck.

The couple's wedding became public on Sunday after the Clark County clerk's office in Nevada revealed that they had obtained a marriage licence on Saturday.

Lopez name update after her marriage: The marriage license filing showed that Lopez plans to take the name Jennifer Affleck.

Affleck received an Oscar for producing the best picture winner "Argo," while Lopez made a fortune travelling, appearing in movies, and recording songs.

Affleck's performance as a recovering alcoholic in the sports drama The Way Back (2020) received widespread praise. The film's themes hit "close to home" for Affleck.
