Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a 2022 Indian biographical drama film based on the life of Nambi Narayanan.
Nambi Narayanan is a former Indian Space Research Organization scientist and aeronautical engineer who was accused of espionage but later exonerated.
Famous actor, R. Madhavan, who also plays the major role, wrote, produced, and directed the film.
The story follows Narayanan from his days as a graduate student at Princeton University through his profession as a scientist and the fake espionage allegations made against him.
It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 19, 2022, in English, Tamil, and Hindi, and was released theatrically on July 1, 2022.
Madhavan had revealed that SRK and Suriya, both did not charge a single penny for their cameo in the project.
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect's trailer premiered a few days ago at New York's Times Square.

Simran plays R Madhavan's wife in the movie. The actors, who previously worked together on Paarthale Paravasam and Kannathil Muthamittal, are reunited on screen after 20 years.
