After the box office hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa was released in 2007, the director Anees Bazmee brought back Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 for the audience. With the T-Series banner, Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a film produced by Krishan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. The movie stars the famous Kartik Aryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav. Due to the pandemic, the initial release was delayed resulting in it being out in theatres on 20 May 2022.

CAST
With the main lead , Kartik Aryan plays the role of Ruhaan Randhawa aka Rooh Baba (A tantric crook), Kiara Advani as the love interest Reet Thakur, Tabu withe dual roles of Manjulika and Anjulika and Rajpal Yadav as Chhote Pandit .
STORY
The story begins when Reet and Ruhan meet at a hill station where they instantly click and form a connection. From there, Reet invites Ruhan to Rajasthan where they land in an abandoned haunted haveli. This haveli turns out to be where Manjulika’s spirit is said to be captured for a long period of 18 years.
This situation brings out the Rooh Baba in Ruhan, who cons people by making them believe that he can actually communicate with ghosts and spirits. But this is where things turn crazy when Rooh unleashes the spirit of Manjulika by accident. With the chilling song Ami Je Tomar, the film holds the horror genre quite perfectly.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, unlike the other horror films, doesn’t deliver the basic jump-scare but rather does a terrific job at portraying real scary scenes. Adding to the comedy, Kartik Aryan has brought a decent amount of good jokes and sarcasm. While on the other side, Tabu with her bold kohl eyes and frightening dialogue delivery steals the show.

The movie is a great product and does not disappoint the audience. It has just the right amount of balance on were to scare the people and where to make them laugh aloud. The plot-writing and screenplay do not bore the audience with its classic cliches, and thus bind the people to the very end of the film. There’s a spectacular performance given by Kartik and Tabu, who fit well enough in their roles. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a good movie for family entertainment and is a must-watch.
The film has received a positive response from the critics and media.
