Despite the ongoing boycott Bollywood trend, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra movie saw a delightful welcome at the box office. The movie has taken a record start at the box office in India & the US.
According to early estimates, the movie has managed to collect a whopping sum of Rs 36 crores in India and over $ 1 million in the US on its opening day to clock the biggest non-holiday opening of all time for a Hindi film. Brahmastra has defeated the opening-day collections of pre-pandemic blockbusters like Sanju, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Dhoom 3.
Brahmastra is truly the pandemic opener for the film industry. Multiplexes & mass belts stood their ground with spot bookings, the three national chains have minted around Rs 18.50 crores from all the versions. Looks like a superhit weekend chart is definitely in the cards for Brahmastra.
Barhmastra has mostly received positive reviews from critics & audiences. Social media users are also pouring their love online by giving it a big thumbs up. One of them wrote “Impressive chemistry between Ranbir and Alia… Terrific Visuals …Hollywood level… The screenplay was outstanding…. Ayan Mukerji never disappoints me honestly. Definitely watch Brahmastra at your nearest movie theater.”
Another Twitter user, sharing a genuine Brahmastra review, tweeted, “#Brahmashtra genuine review by Tollywood Movie goer: Whoa!!!!!
