BTS, also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan (Bulletproof Boy Scouts), is the biggest boy band in the world, with fans from all around the world. BTS Army
The fanbase is considered one of the biggest fanbases in the entire world, becoming a massive force coming together to support the group. And they definitely have made an impact on the world by donating to some important movements the world saw in the past few years, just like the group. It’s safe to say that BTS and Army are a collective force inspiring the world with their kindness.
On June 10, BTS released their anthology album along with a challenge that helps the fans reminisce about their journey as an ARMY using the #MyBTSStory. This is one of the many campaigns that the group has launched. One such campaign was LOVE MYSELF which was a step towards promoting mental health and prioritizing oneself.
BTS will also be releasing a new version of their latest title track, ‘Yet To Come’, and the video will release on July 13.
ARMY Day Collaboration
Not only are the group and their fans celebrating their birthday, but Google has also released a new street view experiment on its Arts & Culture platform. The experiment is in collaboration with the group, BTS x Street Galleries, which takes a virtual tour of some of their favorite artworks from all around the world.
Each member chose a very unique place that signifies something special to them and ARMY like J-Hope chose the location of the UN General Assembly, where the group gave a speech in 2018 and 2021. RM curated a collection that tours around Namdaemun in Seoul, where the group performed for 2021’s Global Citizen Live Festival.
There are a total of 14 locations with some really beautiful artwork. This collaboration gives an insight to ARMY about the member’s tastes in art. RM, the leader of the group, has been quite vocal about his love for art on Instagram, and also, recently, he appeared on The Art Basel Podcast.
Another collaboration with Google includes a sweet message from the members. As the fans search for ‘BTS’ on google, a purple heart will appear on the left-hand side. Upon clicking this heart, some purple-colored balloons will start floating on the screen. Clicking on the balloons with different colored mics will have a special message from each member.
These collaborations portray the immense love the members and their fans have for each other. Their fans never leave a chance to make them feel special and the members also don’t leave any opportunity to make their beloved ARMY feel special.
Solo-Projects
The group is currently working on their solo projects. J-Hope recently released the title track for his first-ever solo album ‘Jack In The Box’ on July 1 and the entire album will be available on July 15.
