Galliyan Returns
During the trailer launch of the film, the makers teased the fans by giving them hints for the song to be released with a dark undertone for the first time with a catchy tune of the reprised version. The song has been regarded as one of the most soul-touching since its original version and now with the reprised version of it the song which was released on July 4. It is playing on loops of the fans since the trailer was released.
Speaking about the song’s reprised version, director Mohit Suri also said that he hasn’t recreated a song ever and this will be his first time. It’s simple for him as there is no “Ek Villain” without ‘Galliyan’. He and his team wanted to bring back the song but in a way that would be a surprise for the fans and therefore they decided to collaborate with the same team from the singer, and composer to the lyricist and the ones who programmed it.
‘Galliyan Returns’ gives you the depth and makes you want to listen to the song again on a loop. The trailer on the other hand gives you thrills and makes you wonder who exactly the villain in the film is.
Ek Villain Return – Story Plot
The trailer gives us a flashback to the year 2014 when Ritesh Deshmukh who played the role of Rakesh to feel powerful went around killing women. It’s been eight years and now there’s a new Villain in town who is now claiming himself to be the messiah of all one-sided love stories.
He is going around killing women and girls who refuse to get wooed by their stalkers played by John Abraham. According to him, it’s his way of bringing justice to all the men who have unrequited love. Another reason for him being this way seems to be Disha Patani’s character as he’s in love with her. However, Arjun Kapoor on the other hand is seen to be in love with Tara Sutaria.
The trailer shows us a glimpse of some action sequences between John and Arjun where both of them claim to be the villain of each other’s stories. With the dark element alive Mohit Suri keeps the thriller as a primary motive of the film and makes us wonder who the villain is. Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani also seem to portray negative roles in the film. In all the film is going to be of complete interest to watch on July 29.
