Manchester United for the last 2 seasons has struggled a lot and has gone from being the best team in English football to the twentieth position after 2 games.
There has been a lot of protest by the fans against current club owners The Glazers family whom the fans desperately want out. The Glazers might sell their shares worth £ 4.9 Billion.
This is not the first time the fans at the club have protested; there was another one in may 2021 which delayed the match against Liverpool by a considerable time. Fans blame The Glazer family for the decline since Sir Alex Ferguson left which was supposed to be the most significant English club and is now in the mud in the relegation zone.
Mufc has the worst start in history with their leading man Cristiano Ronaldo wanting to leave the club things are getting worse for Manchester United. The club was linked with 50+ player transfers this season and has not managed to sign a big name. The club is now open to offers for Cristiano Ronaldo also.
On the other hand, we have Elon Musk, a business magnate who buys Whatever he wants and takes it from scratch to gold. His recent bids to buy Twitter are a testament to how the billionaire buys whatever he wants.
This joke was a part of an ongoing joke about political allegiance. Later Elon Musk clarified that it was a joke and that if he were to buy any club it would be Manchester United as it is his favorite boyhood club.
Twitter users who follow the Tesla CEO know that he has a habit of joking on Twitter. Who can forget the 2018 US securities and confusion exchange incident involving the element of a musk sarcasm?
Since the tweet, there have been a lot of meme circulations amid MUFC fans still having hope that in the future Elon musk might buy a stake in the club to make the club a great one again. A lot of potential buyers are ready to buy Manchester United. It will be interesting to see another club takeover after Chelsea in 2022.
Many celebrities have engaged in this tweet like Ryan Babel a former Liverpool and Netherlands National Team winger tweeted “Now I need to buy Man United stock got dammit lol”. An exciting proposition for an ex-footballer to buy shares of his rival club.
However Manchester United has remained quiet on the whole matter.
What do you think Red Devils should musk over the reins at Old Trafford so we can sing GGMU again while we win matches and cups?

The question is in the future can MUFC ever become MUSK FC?
