The 28-year-old singer-actor Harry Styles and the 38-year-old actress-director Olivia Wilde had a nearly two-year-long relationship. The split is a friendly one, and they will remain “close friends.”
Reports from PEOPLE said, “He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A. It’s a very amicable decision.”
How did it begin?
Reportedly their romance bloomed on the sets of “Don’t Worry Darling” in 2020 when they met for the first time. In January 2021, the pair was first romantically linked when they attended the Grammy-winning musician’s manager Jeffrey Azoff’s wedding in California and were spotted holding hands.
Interestingly, it is said that Harry even referred to Olivia as his “girlfriend” during his wedding speech.
Olivia was previously engaged to actor Jason Sudeikis. They had a six-year-old daughter, Daisy, and an eight-year-old son, Otis. The news of Olivia and Jason’s breakup of their nine-year relationship crept following Harry’s casting into the film.
