The two-strand program focuses on curriculum support and core skills development to help children from ages 6 to 14 improve their brain development, confidence, concentration, problem-solving skills, reasoning, memory improvement, study skills, and social skills.

Why have you chosen technology as a career?
I have had a passion for computers since the start of my career and I loved being updated and following recent technological trends. This passion led me to build a career in Technology.
Previous job before starting a business?
I have worked as an Educator, a Researcher, a Professor in various universities in the UK, Software Team Lead, a Software Course Content developer, and a Corporate Software Trainer.
Why did you start the business?
To make children confident with Mathematics.
The original business started when I taught my son who was struggling with basic arithmetic, how to use the abacus. Spotting a gap in the market for this service, I started the business. It has since grown organically and has taught thousands of students globally. 8 years on and my son has excelled he has just started a Data Science and Artificial Intelligence graduate apprenticeship program with a major blue chip organization.
Tell us about the technology you use for the business and how it has developed over the years.
We use all the latest web technologies – front end, back end, mobile apps and dedicated servers, cyber security and Games development platforms, various animations, and child-friendly graphics.
What is unique about your technology compared to competitors?
We developed the world’s first games-based Abacus Learning App during those gloomy pandemic times when no other company was developing an app for Abacus Maths teaching. Even today, I believe there is no software/App which is so stable and works as smoothly.
Is the software development complete or is it still ongoing?
Software development started in 2017 just as a vision and it was in the further development phase in 2018, and the pandemic made this vision worldwide. This is how Abacus learning became a global trend. Since 2020, we are constantly updating it as per students’ feedback and experience. Most recently we have added a game-based engaging interface in the software which is the most loved feature among all students.
What do the children like most about your technology and platform?
Children love the Game-based Abacus learning interface the most in our App. Other than that, children also like its attractive UI, design, and animations. The App engages them through a fun-based learning approach.
What are your aims and what does the future hold for the business?
We want to make BYITC the preferred maths learning App for school kids. We see a bright future for BYITC due to the positive feedback and amazing transformation that our course is bringing into the kids’ maths abilities.
