The Land Rover has introduced the new Range Rover Velar Facelifted in India, at a price of Rs 93 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the Velar facelift across the nation have already started, according to the manufacturer. The first shipments will come in September 2023.

The 2018 Range Rover Velar’s interior features a new dashboard that resembles that of the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover. Powertrain for the new Range Rover Velar
Two powertrain options are offered in a single HSE edition of the Range Rover Velar facelift. The new Velar’s engine, a 2.0-liter petrol unit, produces a maximum of 250 horsepower and a maximum torque of 365 Nm. The SUV also has a 2.0-liter diesel engine with a mild hybrid system that produces a maximum torque of 430 Nm and 204 horsepower. An automated transmission with eight speeds is linked with both engines.
The diesel version claims to have a top speed of 210 kmph and speeds from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.3 seconds, while the petrol version claims a top speed of 217 kmph. It boasts an air suspension with an “Elegant Arrival” setting that lowers the ride height by 40 mm when getting in or out of the SUV and a water-wading depth of 580 mm.

In the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) announced sales of 1,048 vehicles, representing a 102 percent increase year over year. JLR added that 78 percent of its current order book is for the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Defender.
According to a statement from the firm, the JLR-certified pre-owned business increased by 137% in the first quarter of FY24, once more demonstrating the rising demand and the value of JLR brands in India.
