‘Liger’ is supposed to be released in the theatres on August 25 starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Pandey, Ronit Roy, and Ramya Krishna in lead roles. The film will also give a special glimpse of legendary boxer Mike Tyson. Written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions the movie is a complete big budget.
Vijay Deverakonda who received immense love and fame not just in the South film industry but all over the counter for Arjun Reddy is now all set to rise again in a sports action – ‘Liger’. He will be seen playing the role of an underdog boxer from Mumbai who will be competing in a Mixed Martial Arts Tournament.
The film will be a temper yet romantic one as per director Puri Jagannadh. As per the reports, Vijay says that “Liger” has been his most challenging role both mentally and physically. On Saturday the actor dropped his new poster from the upcoming film on Instagram and set the netizens on fire with his bold look. He captioned the picture as “A Film that took my everything. As a performance, Mentally, physically my most challenging role. I give you everything! Coming soon #LIGER”.
The poster has already set heat waves on the internet with Vijay posing in the buff and holding a bouquet of roses. Fans are already showering love in the comment section and making it go viral. Vijay shared a glimpse of his upcoming film “Liger” last year on 31st December and was widely appreciated. Vijay also tweeted saying, “Please know that I hear you- your man has a plan at all times. ‘10’ #LIGER”.
The first look was however eye-catching to the viewers. The film will be released in five different languages which include Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The poster has already caught the eyes of the audience and is receiving immense appreciation and the film will do so. The Hyderabad boy has never disappointed his audience with his films and almost all of them have received a great response from the audience.
“Liger” will mark his first step in the Bollywood fraternity and the actor has already made his place well be it with the chemistry he’s about to share with his co-star Ananya Pandey and the producer of the film Karan Johar. He is already receiving a warm welcome from the other members of Bollywood.
The actor will also be seen with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Kusi which will be released on December 23 and opposite Pooja Hegde in Jana Gana Mana which will also be directed by Puri Jagannadh.
Therefore, it won’t be wrong to say that Vijay is definitely about to give another blockbuster through “Liger” which will be released on August 25 in theatres near you.
