Why has the relationship between Ronaldo and Manchester United soured up?

Fifteen months post his unimagined return to Old Trafford, the Cristiano Ronaldo saga has turned into a nightmare. With a mutual agreement, the two have parted ways.
Things spiced up on November 16, 2022, when, a two-part interview with Piers Morgan had released. In the explosive and uncensored interview, Ronaldo criticized the club’s management. He had even said that he felt “betrayed” by the club. He even said that he felt disrespected.
Ronaldo had alleged that United forced him out. He even said that the senior executives lacked empathy after his newborn son died in April. Ronaldo was upset at the manager, Ten Hag, who did not respect him.
Following the interview, on November 18th, the Club said that “appropriate steps” will be taken in response to Ronaldo’s comments
Many issues piled up and eventually led to an exit.
Ronaldo failed to report preseason training and tours due to family reasons. It was when his newborn was sick and died. Although he got an extended leave, Ronaldo claims that the Club did not quite believe him.
The 37-year-old striker had left Old Trafford before full-time for the friendly clash against Rayo Vallecano in August. At half-time, Ten Hag had to replace Ronaldo with Amad Diallo Ronaldo. This increased the hostilities between Ten Hag and Ronaldo.
On November 13, Ronaldo was also absent from their squad for the final game before the World Cup break.
Finally, the explosive interview for TalkTV with British broadcaster Piers Morgan eventually blew the final whistle.
In 2003 Cristiano Ronaldo first signed for Manchester United for £12.24m from Sporting Lisbon at the age of 18. In his first spell, from 2003 to 2009, Ronaldo won the Champions League, three Premier Leagues, the FA Cup, two League Cups, and the Fifa World Player of the Year award.
He second debuted at Manchester United in August 2021.
After the FIFA World Cup Qatar, 2022, the United may seek to replace him in January.
Ronaldo’s next move is unclear.
