According to Nothing CEO Carl Pei in an exclusive interview with Tech Today, India is a crucial strategic market for the business. “The Indian market will be significant,” he said. Even though global macroeconomic conditions are now not favorable, India is not experiencing a recession. There is a large and tech-savvy youthful population, and the economy is still expanding.
He also stated that the brand initially emphasized selling products and entering the Indian market. However, he drew attention to the following change towards domestic manufacturing and now sees India as a center for exporting goods.
