Rocky and Rani in Kolkata?
Rocky and Rani is going to be the greatest romantic story of the year. At least that’s what Dharma Productions and Karan Johar intend. So, keep your fingers crossed as Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani makes its presence felt across the country this Friday.
To promote their upcoming love saga, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh dropped by the City of Joy. They spread love and lots of cheer with their infectious energy and laughter. They also interacted with fans and talked about their love for all things Bengali.
What did Rocky and Rani wear?
Ranveer Singh was his usual charming self in striped trousers and a fluffy white shirt. Alia looked drop-dead gorgeous in her 6-yards of absolute elegance. Her chosen sleeveless blouse with a plunging neckline took everyone’s breath away! Looking all bubbly in pink and red, Alia wished all her fans in Kolkata ‘namaskar’ in Bengali. She told them how much she loved Bengal. She also promised that Bengalis were not stereotypes in the film.
Why did Rocky and Rani visit Kolkata?
A true fan of Bollywood romances and you still haven’t heard Dhindora Baje Re? Clearly, Rocky and Rani think that you do not love them enough, especially if you are from the City of Joy! That’s because they arrived in Kolkata exclusively to promote the release of the new number in their album. And it’s a banger for sure!
Rocky + Rani + Yellow Taxi = Made in Heaven!
Yes, the eponymous yellow taxis really made it to the rendezvous! Rocky and Rani were given a fitting welcome by an entourage of yellow cabs. The cabs or ‘holud taxis’ created a heart around them, referring to the romantic saga that will be in theatres soon! Alia’s dimpled smile and the pink blush on her cheeks really made everyone’s heart go aww. Rocky and Rani also treated their fans to a star-studded dance performance. They chose the song Tum Kya Mile and transported their fans to the snow-capped mountains where the flavour of SRK’s romantic songs have remained!
