Shah Rukh Khan who is getting ready to star in his next epic, titled Jawan, dropped some tantalizing posters of Nayanthara on his social media handle. “Jawan” is described as a “high-octane action thriller that outlines the emotional journey of a man who is determined to right the wrongs in society.” So far, only the tiniest of details are known about the movie.
Shah Rukh Khan Drops Poster Of Nayanthara
When it comes to the introduction of his leading ladies, Shah Rukh Khan is the ultimate king. The way he does it, no one can do it. A week after dropping the much anticipated prevue of Jawan, continuing the same streak, he dropped several posters of Nayanthara on Instagram recently and sent fans into a frenzy. Touted as the first Lady Superstar, Nayanthara is known for films like Netrikann, Bigil, Ghajni, Darbar, etc. And it will be her first-ever Hindi-language film (her debut in this language category).
First Look of the “Lady Superstar”
Nayanthara, who takes the spotlight, suits up and takes on her opponent with a man standing beside her in the poster. Nayanthara proudly stands and arms herself with a rifle, looking every bit like a lethal and ultimate boss. Based on her looks, she wears black sunglasses and tucks her hair slightly into a sleek and chic ponytail.
Judging by her fierce appearance, she appears to be playing a tough police officer who is determined to bring down Jawan. The slogan on the poster reads, “Ready or not, she’s got the Glock.” SRK captioned the photo, “She is the thunder that comes before the storm”! In addition to the main character poster, fans were teased with a glimpse of the actress in the prevue as she chased Jawan and his gang in action.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Second Theatrical Release After Pathaan
Jawan marks Khan’s second outing after Pathaan’s successful run in theaters this year. The prevue already looked thunderous, and fans cannot wait to see what this film holds for them. Pathaan established a standard, and with Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan hopes to elevate the action genre to the next level by playing multiple characters, one of whom wears a terrifying half-mask.
Other Cast Members Besides Shah Rukh Khan
In addition to the lead actor, Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars South superstar Vijay Sethupati. Besides this, Deepika Padukone will also make a special appearance in an undisclosed role. Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sangeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Sunil Grover, and Mukesh Chabbra also play pivotal roles. Jawan, a pan-India movie directed by Atlee, will hit theaters on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu languages, respectively.
