Buckle up for a Bollywood Basher this Friday as ‘Vikram Vedha’ is all set to hit the theatres for our delight. The audience has highly anticipated the movie, not just for the star-studded cast but also because of the brilliant storyline. This is the very first time we will see Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in a movie together. From gruesome action sequences and epic one-liners to thrilling fight scenes and intense cat-and-mouse chase sequences, the trailer promises a near-faithful remake of the 2017 Tamil hit.
Vikram Vedha Cast
The movie stars Hrithik Roshan as Vedha, Saif Ali Khan as Vikram, Radhika Apte as Priya, Rohit Saraf as Vedha’s brother, Yogita Bihani as Chanda, and Sharib Hashmi as Babloo.
Plot
Vikram Vedha revolves around a tough cop (Saif) who sets out to track and kill an equally tough gangster (Hrithik). Vikram is an honest police inspector, who seeks to apprehend Vedha, a dreaded gangster. When Vedha surrenders, Vikram’s perception of good and evil begins to change when Vedha narrates three stories to him.
The movie is written by Pushkar-Gayatri, a Hindi adaptation of the 2017 Tamil film of the same name, which starred Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi and was also directed by Pushkar and Gayatri. Like the original, the film is loosely inspired by the popular folk tale- Vikram and Betaal.

Production
Production of the movie began in October 2021 and was wrapped in June 2022 by producers, Bhushan Kumar, Neeraj Pandey, and Shital Bhatia. Vikram Vedha is scheduled for a global release on Sept 30, 2022. The film is made under the T Series Films and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios presentation. The shoot locations are known to be Abu Dhabi and Lucknow.
Worldwide Releasing Dates
While Vikram Vedha will release at the same time in North America, the UK, New Zealand, and Australia, countries where Bollywood films usually release around their Indian release date, the movie will also see a simultaneous release in regions where Hindi movies run after it has made a considerable business in conventional locations. Vikram Vedha will have a theatrical release in Japan, Russia, Panama, and Peru on the same date too.
Music
The songs featured in the film are composed by Vishal–Shekhar, with lyrics written by Manoj Muntashir. The first single “Alcoholic” was released on 17 September 2022, and the second single “Bande” on 26 September.
