Tate was born in Chicago and was raised on an estate in Luton. He is British-American and now resides in Romania. Andrew Take is the son of Emory Tate, the chess champion. He has played chess since he was 5 years old. By 2005, Tate had started practicing boxing and martial arts. And in November 2008, the International Sport Kickboxing Association ranked Andrew Tate the 7th best light-heavyweight kickboxer in Britain. Throughout his 20s he has worked as a TV producer while training alongside a kickboxer at the local gym. He went on to fight professionally and won world titles.
