The MCU movies have been some of the most successful movies in the past. The Avengers Endgame is the highest-grossing movie ever, it made over a billion dollars. Here is a list of some of the highest-paid actors of the MCU.
10. CHRIS PRATT – $5 MILLION
Played by Chris Pratt, Peter Jason Quill, also known by his nickname Star-Lord, is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Quill is first introduced as a member of the Ravagers, a space mercenary squad that was kidnapped from Earth as a youngster by Yondu Udonta. He becomes the Guardians of the Galaxy’s leader after they band together to stop Ronan the Accuser from destroying Xandar.
9. BRIE LARSON – $5 MILLION
Brie Larson plays the role of Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot, is discovered by the Kree after crashing an experimental aircraft and is trained as a member of the elite Starforce Military under the direction of her tutor Yon-Rogg. After escaping to Earth while under attack by the Skrulls, Danvers comes to understand there’s more to her past six years.
8. BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH – $6.4 MILLION
Benedict Cumberbatch plays Dr. Strange. The character begins as an incredibly competent but egotistical surgeon who loses his ability to operate when a car accident badly scars his hands beyond repair. While traveling the globe for healing, he meets the Ancient One, the Sorcerer Supreme. Strange enroll in his classes and learns supernatural as well as martial arts talents. He collects a number of mystical items, including the powerful Eye of Agamotto and the Cloak of Levitation, and moves into the Sanctum Sanctorum, which is located at 177A Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village, New York City. Strange takes on the role of Sorcerer Supreme and defends the world from supernatural perils alongside his buddy and valet Wong.
7. PAUL RUDD – $8 MILLION
Paul Rudd portrays Ant-Man. The film Ant-Man premiered worldwide on June 29, 2015, in Los Angeles, and was released in the United States on July 17, 2015, as the final installment in Marvel’s Phase Two. It grossed over $519 million worldwide and received positive reviews from critics who appreciated the actors (particularly Rudd, Pea, Lilly, and Douglas), humor, and visual effects, as well as the film’s lower stakes than previous MCU films. The sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp was released in 2018. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the third film, will be released in July 2023.

In The Avengers, Mark Ruffalo took over the part of Bruce Banner, or Hulk, in one of the most notable cases of recasting in the MCU. Despite the quick switch in performers, Ruffalo has become a beloved part of the universe.
Despite missing out on Hulk’s lone solo film so far, he has played an important role in the Avengers’ exploits.
4. CHRIS EVANS – $15 MILLION
Captain America, played by Chris Evans, is one of the most well-known characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The protagonist is dressed in American flag garb and holds an indestructible shield that he throws as a projectile. Steve Rogers, a sickly young artist who joined the military to aid the United States government’s efforts in World War II and was augmented to the peak of human perfection by an experimental “super-soldier serum,” is Captain America. Near the end of the war, he was encased in ice and remained in suspended animation until resurrected in current times.
3. CHRIS HEMSWORTH – $20 MILLION
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is banished from Asgard by his father Odin (Sir Anthony Hopkins) due to his arrogance and is forced to live among mortals on Earth. Thor learns valuable lessons after falling in love with scientist Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), and his newfound strength comes into play when a villain from his country sends terrible forces toward Earth.
2. SCARLETT JOHANSON – $20 MILLION
Scarlett Johanson’s character, Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff), is a superhero and a significant character from Marvel Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is a former KGB agent, a high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, and Nick Fury’s top spy, in addition to being an Avengers member. She is Hawkeye’s best friend and the adoptive older sister of Yelena Belova.
She first appears as an important character in the 2010 film Iron Man 2, and after returning in 2012’s The Avengers, she becomes a key figure in the Infinity Saga. In the film Black Widow, she plays the titular character.
1. ROBERT DOWNEY JR. – $75 MILLION
Tony Edward Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., is a wealthy American business magnate, playboy, philanthropist, inventor, and brilliant scientist who is abducted and suffers a terrible chest injury. When his captors force him to develop a weapon of mass destruction, he instead builds a robotic suit of armor to save his life and escape captivity. Later, Stark adds weapons and other Stark Industries-developed technological equipment to his suit. As Iron Man, he defends the planet with the suit and its various variations. Despite the extended concealment of his actual identity, Stark eventually reveals himself as Iron Man.
