Grimace Shake from McDonald’s became a TikTok trend in June when it introduced a purple-tinted milkshake in a nostalgia-driven campaign honouring “Grimace” – one of the fast food giant’s characters seen in advertisements and at children’s birthday parties.
Some Rumours say that he’s Ronald McDonald’s friend from another planet. Let’s learn all about the what, why and how of the grimace in this article.
What’s Grimace Shake?
Now, you may wonder, who exactly is Grimace?
Well, Grimace is a lovable purple monster introduced by McDonald’s, who won the hearts of children in the 1970s and 80s.
The “Grimace Birthday Shake” was offered as part of the “Grimace Birthday Meal,” which included a choice of Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a medium French fry, and, of course, the unique purple shake.
