The famous cricketer Shivam Dubey and his wife Anjum recently announced through Instagram that they have been blessed with a baby boy. The cricketer is doing pretty well for himself and his family. A 28-year-old wrote on his Instagram, “Bundle of happiness arrives in our life..blessed with a baby boy.” The baby boy happens to be the lucky charm for his father.
Soon after the birth of the baby boy, Shivam Dubey was bought by CSK (Champions Chennai Super Kings) at the Indian Premier League (IPL) super auction. He signed the league for 4 crores. In the last season, he was bundled up with the Rajasthan Royals (RR) but it did not go too well. But, this time with CSK fingers crossed.
Shivam Dubey is soon going to play with MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Moeen Ali, and Ravindra Jadeja.
Earlier, Dubey was playing in association with Royal challengers Bangalore in the year 2021 but could not result in great success. Ahead of the mega auction, the Rajasthan-based franchise retained Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
There are a few genuine bowling all-rounders and Dubey is one among them. Dubey is one of the best players and of course, he is an all-rounder. Taking into consideration his all-round abilities and power game, he should be among the best players for sure. Definitely, he is one of the valuable players in the IPL auction. On the other hand, he must work on his bowling skills as his speed is 125 which is not enough to be at the top-level these days.
The all-rounder was born on June 26, 1993, and is currently 28 years old. He was born in Mumbai and is a left-handed batsman. Shivam Dubey got married to his long-time Muslim girlfriend Anjum Khan on 16th July 2021. He posted a few images of the wedding ceremony on his Instagram handle and titled the images with a caption, “We loved with a love which was more than love.” Currently, he is blessed with a baby boy.
Shivam Dubey also plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket. He made his International debut for the Indian Cricket Team in the year November 2019.
Soon after the couple tied a knot, viewers started bashing the all-rounder for getting married to a Muslim girl. While many other viewers also congratulated the couple, there were tons of people who started spreading hatred while they both were entering a very special and new phase in their lives. There was absolutely no shortage of people who started questioning him on the basis of Islamic rituals he performed for his wedding.
In a secular and democratic country like India, people have the right to marry whoever they want. People of India can marry anyone keeping behind the other person’s caste, creed, gender, etc. Our constitution gives freedom to each one of us in order to decide with whom we want to spend the rest of our lives.
