Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: Reveals major plotlines after leaked scenes from the film started surfacing all over the Internet

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is practically knocking on our doors. With its release closing by Marvel fans are exploding the social media with new and huge spoilers from the movie. Before this outburst, authorities at MCU were stunned as important mid and post-credits scenes from the film were leaked revealing significant storylines.

The post-credits scenes are considered to be a major part of any superhero movie, as it provides a cliffhanger that often helps in maintaining the buzz of the movie, even after its release. It could show a glimpse of a new character to be introduced, or tease a consecutive plot theory. Thus leaking one such part could be crucial.

Cast

The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange, along with Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. It is scheduled to release on May 6, 2022.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

It is MCU’s upcoming film directed by Sam Raimi. A sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange, this is the 28th film in the MCU. Benedict Cumberbatch will be seen reprising the role of Stephen Strange, who became a Master of the Mystic Arts. 

The film will follow the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the first season of Disney+’ Loki. Doctor Strange, with the help of both the old and new mystical allies, travels into the multiverse to encounter a mysterious new rival.

The Leaked Scenes

One of the sources reveals that in the mid-credits scene, Doctor Strange witnesses a nightmare, following the events of the Multiverse. The nightmare shows the character training of an apprentice in an almost destroyed New York City with a dead Wong and Dormammu’s sister Umar. This will also give a tease of Phase 4’s Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror as well. 

Lastly, in the mid-credits scene, after Strange wakes up from his nightmare with the Eye of Agamotto, he hears a cry for help from Clea. She is a sorceress and also his love interest in the comics. There is a possibility that Clea will be played by Charlize Theron.

But it does not end here, as it has a post-credits scene that includes Deadpool and his squad, featuring Cable, Domino, and Vanessa. They are seen to be touring the Illuminati facility after the Multiverse of Madness. 

The scene will show Deadpool breaking the fourth wall and making references to the popular sitcom The Office (US) while cracking jokes about the dead bodies on the floor. He will also mention Sir Patrick Stewart’s third death as Professor Xavier after X-Men: The Last Stand and Logan.

Both these scenes sound extremely vital for the movie’s progress. However, viewers are a bit skeptical about these, as they could be either a publicity gimmick or the actual scenes from the film.
