Billboard revealed the Top 10 of their latest Hot 100 chart, it’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States, on the evening of July 24, local time. For the week of July 29 on the Hot 100 chart, Jungkook’s single “Seven” debuted at No. 1, marking his first No. 1 as a solo artist. Through this impeccable achievement, Jungkook joins Jimin as the only Korean artist to achieve this feat, following Jimin’s No. 1 ‘Like Crazy’ on the Billboard Hot 100.
Apart from Jimin and Jungkook, BTS as a group is the only other Korean artist to top the Billboard Hot 100. Previously, Jungkook hit the charts and took the 22nd spot after featuring on Charlie Puth’s ‘Left & Right, and his “7 Fates: CHAKHO” OST track ‘Stay Alive’ also charted and took the 95th spot.
