On July 14th, Jungkook made his solo debut, releasing his single featuring American rapper Latto and South Korean actress Han So Hee. Before the release of his single, the ‘Euphoria’ singer officially added two of his previous songs, ‘My You’ and ‘Still With You’, on Spotify. These songs were first unofficially released on the occasion of BTS Festa in the years 2022 and 2020, respectively, on BANGTANTV and Soundcloud.
Jungkook’s Seven Officially Enters the Billboard Hot 100 Club
BTS’ Jungkook has swept the music industry and the world with his latest, ‘Seven’. The song has been ruling the music charts globally and is currently ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. During behind-the-scenes footage of the MV, Jungkook was seen heaping praise on actress Han So Hee, who starred as the main lead alongside him.
In its first week of release from July 14 to 20, “Seven” sold a combined total of over 153,000 song downloads and CD singles, in addition to garnering 21.9 million streams and 6.4 million radio airplay audience impressions. – Soompi
He also teased his appearance on fellow bandmate Suga’s talk show, ‘Suchwita’. Jungkook mentioned that Suga looked awkward while acting but added that he was merely joking and that he would say this to him on his show.

Han So Hee is a South Korean actress who debuted in Seven MV. She started her career with supporting roles in popular K-dramas like ‘100 Days My Prince’, and ‘Abyss’. Later, she found immense success by doing lead roles in global hits like ‘Nevertheless’, ‘My Name’, and ‘Soundtrack’.
Jungkook Joins Jimin and BTS as the Only Artist to Score No. 1 On Hot 100
Billboard revealed the Top 10 of their latest Hot 100 chart, it’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States, on the evening of July 24, local time. For the week of July 29 on the Hot 100 chart, Jungkook’s single “Seven” debuted at No. 1, marking his first No. 1 as a solo artist. Through this impeccable achievement, Jungkook joins Jimin as the only Korean artist to achieve this feat, following Jimin’s No. 1 ‘Like Crazy’ on the Billboard Hot 100.
Apart from Jimin and Jungkook, BTS as a group is the only other Korean artist to top the Billboard Hot 100. Previously, Jungkook hit the charts and took the 22nd spot after featuring on Charlie Puth’s ‘Left & Right, and his “7 Fates: CHAKHO” OST track ‘Stay Alive’ also charted and took the 95th spot.
Seven also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Global 200 chart and The Global Excl. US chart in addition to the Hot 100.
According to Jungkook’s label, HYBE, he will soon drop his full-length solo album, which will be entirely in English. The goal is to reach a wider audience. Jungkook’s full-length solo album will reportedly be released this year, and HYBE will disclose more details soon. Andrew Watt, who has co-written and produced ‘Seven,’ is likely to join Jungkook again for his upcoming full-length solo album.
