The movie revolves around Rocky (Ranveer Singh) and Rani’s (Alia Bhatt) families. The couple are totally opposite of each other hence to test if they can stay together, they swap families. Every actor played their role perfectly well. The chemistry between Ranveer And Alia is electric and magnetic. The storyline is simple, funny, romantic, and emotional. It strikes the right chords and keeps you invested throughout. Along with that, the cinematography was a visual feast, with foreign locations beautifully captured in the songs and the vibrant puja dance set. The visuals enhanced the overall cinematic experience.

The movie can safely be termed a “Perfect Bollywood Movie”. It has dance, drama, emotions, love, and family. It’s overall a perfect package. Punch lines are not outdated or irrelevant. The storyline keeps you engaged with wanting to know more and more. Karan Johar includes social issues in the movie and also provides the reason behind them. There are lots and lots of social messages without sounding like school lectures.

The drama between the opposite family keeps you entertained. Writers (Shashank Khaitan, Sumit Roy, and Ishita Moitra) need to be applauded for their on-point creativity. The visuals are aesthetically pleasing. The nostalgic songs keep the ears hooked onto the screen. Of course, there might be some flaws but they go unnoticed by the extraordinary performance of the whole team. Opinions are bound to be subjective, but this movie is a must-watch for all those people who enjoy emotional plots & miss the lost old-school vibe of Bollywood which all of us loved while growing up.
